Chinese government changes regulations on imported food labelling from Vietnam
VTV.vn - According to a notice of the Chinese Customs, from October 1st, the Chinese Government will not require registration records for packaging labels of prepackaged food imported from Vietnam into China.

Chinese importers will be responsible for ensuring that Chinese-language labels on packaging conforms to Chinese regulations, administrative regulations, and national food safety standards.

Imported pre-packed foods will be subject to random checks. Importers need to provide documents proving the goods meet required conditions for import, the original documents, the translation of the labelling, Chinese labelling forms, and other documents for customs officers.
