Cherry blossom at Shinnen 2016

On January 30^th and 31^st, New Year Celebration event - Shinnen 2016 – took place at Savico Megamall Long Bien – Hanoi with the great attendance of youngsters. Not only taking part in some traditional activities, visitors can also enjoy the cherry blossom, which is directly imported from Japan.

The festival opened with the traditional Taiko drum and Yosakoi dance performances. Several food stalls were served at the event in order to introduce Japanese specialties. Japanese dolls and cosplay accessories also attracted great attention from youngsters.

Besides from traditional activities at the festival, Shinnen 2016 was the biggest cosplay event in Hanoi. On January 31^st, hundreds of cosplayers gathered with their unusual transformation, promising to bring unique performances to the audience.
