Changes in food safety management

VTV.vn - The Prime Minister just released a decree that explains the Food Safety Law.

The management process for imported and exported food will include the risk management principle and comply with the international norms. As a result, the number of declared goods will decrease by 90% and the time for processing procedures will reduce from 15 days to 7 days.

For health food, the process will take 21 days instead of 30 days. Another fundamental change in imported food management is that more responsibilities are assigned to local authorities. The duties of ministries have also been more clearly stated. The government calculated that this change would save the country 2.8 million working days a year, which translates to almost 110 million USD.
