Built for 74 billion VND (2.9 million USD), the new ATC tower features 12 storeys with a height of 37 metres and a cabin area of 60 square metres.
VATM said the new Buon Ma Thuot ATC tower will replace the existing facility.
The new tower is equipped with modern equipment that meets the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organisation, said VATM General Director Nguyen Cong Long.
He added that the new ATC tower will help increase the air traffic management capacity to 15 flights per hour, equivalent to 131,000 flights per year.
