VTV.vn - A collection of more than 20 book titles has been recently debuted by the Information and Communications Publishing House, providing convincing evidence of Vietnam’s sovereignty over its seas and islands.

The collection is the outcome of cooperation between the publishing house and organisations, scholars, historians and historical witnesses, who have worked ceaselessly over the past few years to collect historical documents and legal evidence of Vietnam’s activities in the East Sea.

The collection groups scientific researches, historical documents and ancient maps which prove Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos as well as the country’s continuous exercise and protection of sovereignty over its seas and islands.

The publications aim to raise the awareness of every Vietnamese citizen of the important role played by the country’s seas and islands, particularly among young people, thus enhancing their responsibility in protecting Vietnam’s sovereignty over its seas and islands and making contributions toward national construction and defence.
