VTV.vn - The State Audit Office of Vietnam proposed collecting approximately 1.93 billion US dollars in 2017, a 12.5% rise compared to the previous year.

Chairwoman of National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan attended the event. In 2017, the State Audit Office launched 257 audits, and proposed the amendment and elimination of 96 law documents to avoid waste. At the conference, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân asked auditing agencies to promote the use of IT to shorten processing time, and raise auditing quality. In 2018, the sector has been tasked to carry out 205 audits, focusing on the budget of cities and provinces, central agencies, and areas where there is a high risk of corruption and waste.
