Asian kite surfing championship ends in Ninh Thuan

The event, the first of its kind in Ninh Thuan Province, saw the participation of 73 athletes from 25 countries and territories.At the closing ceremony, the organising board awarded medals to 24 contestants with outstanding achievements in the categories of twin-flip, freestyle and stand-up paddle-board racing, and wave performance.

Vietnamese contestant, Lại Hoàng Phú won a gold medal in the freestyle racing category. The tour’s second round will be held in Thailand next month, with the third round scheduled for China in April.
