ASEAN regional forum senior officials’ meeting opens

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung led Vietnam’s delegation. 

Senior officials at the event appreciated the ASEAN's cooperation in the East Sea, in areas like fishing, environmental protection, and crime. 

They also expressed concern over the East Sea issue, and called on the parties involved to comply with the Declaration of the Conduct of Parties (DOC) in the East Sea, and work together to form the Code of Conduct of Parties (COC) in the East Sea.
