Art programme welcomes Ho Chi Minh City’s 11th Party Congress

Entitled ‘Ho Chi Minh City - Heroic City’, the event was attended by Politburo member and Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan.

The activity was arranged in three parts honouring the city’s achievements during the Doi Moi (Renewal) process, its efforts in following Uncle Ho’s teachings, and its aspirations for further development.

The performances were brought to the stage by artists from the Bong Sen Traditional Song and Dance Theatre, the Tran Huu Trang ‘Cai Luong’ (Reformed Opera) Theatre, the Phuong Nam Theatre, and Hang Anh Duong Dance Troupe.

The performances also highlighted the municipal Party committee, authorities and people’s endeavour and strive to overcome all difficulties and challenges, continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition of resilience, solidarity and creativity.
