VTV.vn - During the upcoming APEC Economic Leaders’ Week in Danang City, Vietnam’s two proposals relating to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) are expected to be submitted to APEC Senior Leaders.

These proposals were highly appreciated by delegates at the 24th APEC Small and Medium Enterprises Ministerial Meeting in HCMC last September. This shows that supporting MSMEs attracts interest from the highest levels and plays an important role in APEC’s agenda. About 97% of enterprises in Vietnam and APEC member economies are micro, small and medium sized.

According to the APEC’s Small and Medium Enterprises Working Group’s Strategic Plan for 2017 – 2020, critical issues pertaining to the growth of MSME will be addressed, including entrepreneurship, innovation and the internet and digital economy; financing for business expansion and capability development; an inclusive business ecosystem that supports SME growth; and market access for SMEs.
