Thanks to the effective control of the pandemic in the city, the Chairman of the Hai Phong City People’s Committee cum Head of the city’s Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control decided to restore all restricted activities in the city.
However, the city leader asked for the strict observation of the “5K” regulations set by the Health Ministry and all preventative measures set out in specific areas.
At the same time, all control posts at gateways to the city and at communes bordering Hai Duong province will be removed.
*Meanwhile, the People’s Committee of Hai Duong province on March 19 asked the province’s Department of Health and localities to review all hotels designated as concentrated medical isolation facilities for foreign workers.
According to the province, only hotels that can meet the conditions of location, number of rooms, quality of rooms, food safety and hygiene regulations can continue to serve as medical isolation facilities for foreign workers, in order to ensure the prevention and control of the pandemic.
