President Sang thanked German friends for supporting Vietnam during its struggle for independence, saying that German assistance, especially in personnel training, created an important basis for their thriving friendship.
President Sang told German friends about the fruitful cooperation between the two countries in various areas, which has seen great contributions by the Vietnam Friendship Association in Germany, the Germany-Vietnam Friendship Association, and German individuals.
President Sang voiced his hope that German friends would continue their support of Vietnam’s national development, as well as of the bilateral ties and prosperity shared by the two countries’ people.
