The event saw the participation of more than 500 Vietnamese and foreign representatives of whom many are world-leading experts of ocean engineering. Over 200 scientific reports that tackle important matters, such as ocean wave, tides, storm surge, and tsunamis have been represented at the conference. Also at the conference, the real situation regarding landslides in the Mekong River Delta was discussed. Foreign experts hope that they can help Vietnam find an effective solution for that situation.
The APAC Conference is held once every two years. This year, the event is being hosted by Thuyloi University of Vietnam. It will last until September 28th.
