The figure was announced at a meeting to review administrative reform chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Trương Hòa Bình, Head of the Government's Steering Committee for Administrative Reform and General Department of Taxation as well as Ministry of Finance on Wednesday. At the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated tax payment times being cut by 420 hours to 117 hours. He also urged the department to facilitate business start-ups, create favourable mechanisms for taxpayers while boosting online tax declarations in a bid to raise state budget and cut corruption.
