8th Vietnam Russia strategic dialogue kicked off

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ho Xuan Son led the Vietnamese delegation to the event.

The dialogue was held on the occasion of the 65^th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between the two nations. Both sides agreed to promote strategic comprehensive partnership in key economic sectors as well as in security and defence. Russia also hoped to connect country members of the Eurasian Economic Union with Vietnam and pledged to improve co-ordination in international forums.
