Local consumers now have more opportunities to buy clean farm products while co-operatives have another distribution outlet. Vice State President Đặng Thị Ngọc Thịnh attended the event and highly appreciated the effort of the Vietnam Co-operative Alliance in connecting with over a hundred safe farm co-operatives from Sơn La Province to Ho Chi Minh City.
The network is expected to help stabilizeboth prices and quality of farm products. So far, about 63 provinces and cities nationwide have registered key products with the Alliance. This year, the Vietnam Co-operative Alliance plans to have 15 to 20 supermarkets in Hanoi and 5 to 10 supermarkets in Ho Chi Minh City.
