This year’s festival is also the first which allows multi-episode documentaries to compete. In the category of television series, the jury started to vote since November. The longest TV series has 253 episodes.
Nguyen Ha Nam - Head of Editorial Department of Vietnam Television, Standing Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Board of the 38th National Television Festival - said that the documentary is the central genre of the broadcasters.
