The gifts were delivered as part of the ‘Xay Tet’ 2025 programme, which was co-organised by Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper and Coteccons Group, with nearly 19,000 Tet gifts being distributed to workers nationwide.
The programme aims to provide a warm and joyful Tet celebration for workers across the country and promote the spirit of mutual support and compassion within the community while effectively implementing social welfare policies.
During the gift-giving ceremony, Luu Quoc Thang, Deputy Head of the Nhan Dan Newspaper’s Permanent Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City, emphasised the newspaper's commitment in recent years to actively engage in social welfare activities and charitable initiatives.
He expressed hope that these programmes would continue to attract participation from businesses to amplify its positive impact throughout society.
For his part, Phan Hong Thai, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Urban Environment Company, conveyed his appreciation for the generous support provided by both Nhan Dan Newspaper and Coteccons Group, which helps to raise workers’ motivation at work.
