VTV.vn - A Vietjet Air flight carrying 215 Vietnamese who were citizens stranded in Singapore due to COVID-19 landed at the Can Tho International Airport on April 24.

This was a priority flight to bring Vietnamese citizens home, including children under 18 years old, the sick, people under medical treatment, and those in difficult circumstances.

The passengers are being placed under quarantine at Regiment 932 under the former Can Tho Military School.

The airport is scheduled to receive 150 Vietnamese citizens returning from Indonesia on April 26.

The agency presented 100 gifts to ethnic minority people in Kon Tum Province on April 24. Each gift includes 10 kg of rice, cooking oil, fish sauce, soy sauce, seasoning powder, salt and sugar.

*Kien Giang Province handed over VND217.2 million to the Consulate General of Vietnam in Preah Sihanouk Province, Cambodia, on April 23 as a gift from the province’s authorities and people to support Vietnamese people in Cambodia.

On the same day, representatives from the Vietnamese Ministry of Defence handed over medical supplies to representatives from the Cambodian Ministry of Defence at Moc Bai Border Gate in Tay Ninh Province.

The supplies include 100,000 antibacterial cloth masks, 200 handheld infrared thermometers and 5,000 antiseptic bottles.

*An online health advice support application named VOV Bacsi24 was launched by the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Health and the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) on April 24. The platform will provide free online medical consultation for people during the COVID-19 pandemic.
