Out of more than 2,400 submissions, distinguished projects in 21 categories won the prestigious prize. The New York Times and The New Yorker won the Public Service Award for their coverage of the sexual abuse of women in Hollywood and other industries around the world.
The Feature Photography Award went to Reuters staff for exposing violence against Rohingya refugees in Myanmar. The Pulitzer board also awards prizes for the arts. Kendrick Lamar just made history as the first non-jazz or classical artist to win the Pulitzer Prize for music with his album "Damn".
