Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Đặng Đình Quý led the Vietnamese delegation. At the meeting, Thai Minister of Foreign Affairs Don Pramudwinai hosted a discussion on solutions to several issues such as global economic volatility, diseases, natural disasters and terrorism.
Medical tourism and dialogue promotion among Asian countries were also listed in the event’s agenda with an aim to develop a prosperous Asia.
At the event, the Thai minister stressed the importance of the ASEAN Economic Community as it helps boost economic co-operation in ASEAN and the wider Asian region. The meeting also witnessed the enrolment of Nepal as the 34th member of the dialogue.
