All of the discharged patients were Vietnamese citizens hailing from Hanoi, Phu Yen province, and Ho Chi Minh City. Each of the individuals had tested negative for the COVID-19 twice before being released from the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases.
The trio now remain in a stable health condition and have since been displaying no symptoms of the virus, such as a fever, a cough, or shortness of breath.
The group will now be placed into isolation to undergo a mandatory 14-day observation period to ensure there is no possibility of the virus reoccurring or being transmitted among the wider community.
As of 5pm on July 16, the country has gone over 90 consecutive days without any COVID-19 cases being transmitted locally.
