The goal is to make Vietnam into a country with a level of organic agriculture production equal to world-leaders in this field.
Specifically, the value of the product per 1 hectare of land for organic farming and aquaculture is 1.3 to 1.5 times higher than normal.
The area and output of organic agricultural products reach about 1-2% of the total area and agricultural products of the whole country.
The main crops that are directed towards organic production are rice, vegetables of all kinds, fruit trees, tea, pepper, coffee, cashew and coconut. Milk, honey, bird's nests , cattle, poultry meat and aquaculture such as shrimp will be prioritized for development.
For this project, Vietnam also determined to try to build a valuable, sustainable, environmentally friendly agriculture and attach it to the circular economy.
