The project's target is to get jobs for at least 80% of the trainees who participate in the programme. For those who wish to continue pursuing their current line of work, these programmes aim to enhance their skills and therefore improve their incomes.
This is the ministry's bid to restructure the agricultural sector and modernize rural areas. The training curriculum includes 3 main levels: preliminary, intermediary and advanced. Localities are to select occupations suitable for the local region's skillsets. The project is expected to cost 176.6 million USD.
