Yesterday alone witnessed a total of 20,000 overseas Vietnamese arrivals, an increase of 3,000 as compared to the previous week. Pressure on the facility is mounting as terminals have been overloaded with relatives welcoming these individuals home. The authorities have deployed all personnel to stay on 24/7 duty and have also accelerated customs procedures. Citizens are advised to avoid unnecessary trips to the airport.
