VTV.vn - This past weekend, children and families across the country celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival.

In the capital city of Hanoi, the Moonlit Street Procession programme drew a thousand attendees to the Hanoi Museum. From music performances, to lion dances, magic shows and a lantern procession, the Moonlit Street Procession programme was true to the spirit of the Mid-autumn festival: fun, kid-friendly, and colourful.

In the midst of busy urban life, programmes like this are intended to introduce children to traditional celebrations of the Mid-autumn festival, and help preserve part of the national identity.
