The festival this year will have new highlights such as procession at the opening ceremony intended to honour the forefathers of some of the country’s handicrafts and outstanding artisans and craft villages.
The festival is expected to attract 22 craft villages from 14 provinces. Over 300 booths will feature ceramic, rattan, paper, carved wood, bronze products, and folk paintings.
The festival will also feature Hanoian dishes for visitors. In addition, there will be music and martial art performances and traditional games.
