6,000 local people and delegates from 20 provinces that produce tea nationwide also attended at the event. This activity aims to promote Thai Nguyen and Vietnamese tea to foreign business partners and tea lovers.
"We are planning to build large scale fields. We’re also developing our own tea plantation growing area to guarantee stable input for tea production. We’re also strengthening our value chain and connection with farmers to meet European standards", Do Thi Duc Ly, General Director of Tan Cuong Hoang Binh Tea JSC, said.
The local authorities gave awards to 28 enterprises that have contributed to promoting the brand name of Thai Nguyen tea over the past 2 years. The Thai Nguyen Tea Festival is held once every two years and the past two festivals have had a positive impact on the province’s socio-economic development.
