Dieu, 43, admitted to the police that she and three accomplices, Phan Cong Thinh, Tran Thi Lan and Nguyen Hoang Dat, had stolen a hundred branded Nike shoes from Freetrend Industrial Viet Nam Co Ltd in Linh Trung Processing Zone to sell to shoe shops in Ha Noi, Hai Phong and HCM City.
Dieu, Lan and Thinh were workers of the company. Dat collected the shoes and contacted the shops who would buy the stolen goods.
Phan Cong Thinh, one of Hien's accomplices, was caught red-handed carrying dozens of Nike shoes from the company to his accomplices to be sold yesterday morning.
This morning, owners of three shoe shops were arrested and taken for further investigation.
