By the end of August, the country had recorded export revenue of more than US$1 billion in 27 markets according to the General Department of Vietnam Customs.
Main export items to Brazil included telephones and components, footwear and garments, and the same for Mexico. In to Mexico and Brazil, Canada and the US recorded import value of more than US$1 billion worth of Vietnamese products. The US remained the largest export market of Vietnam at 21.85 billion USD.
