The project has proved positive results in Thừa Thiên- Huế Province in terms of both incomes and the environment.
The Forestry Development Project has run in 5 districts in Thừa Thiên - Huế Province. 9,300 households have received support to plant 13,800 hectares of forest, helping improve their incomes.
After the project was launched, it has brought about economic benefits to involved households. It also helps protect the environment.
Besides creating jobs and stable incomes, the project has contributed to reducing soil erosion and increasing forest cover. With positive results, Thùa Thiên-Huế’s authorities intend to call for the participation of 20 more households across 220 hectares.
Students, the future generation of Vietnam, are the ones who will continue the preservation and promotion of Hue Imperial Palace’s Culture. Putting royal dance into the school curriculum helps facilitate this mission by allowing them to have a better understanding of this cultural art form.
