Operation Healthy Heart: Accompanying congenital heart disease patients for 15 years

Operation Healthy Heart is a humanitarian program that supports the treatment of congenital heart disease in children under the age of 18 from disadvantaged backgrounds. It was founded and has been operated by the Vietnamese Charity Fund - Viettel Group since 2008. With the criteria of transparency and accuracy in the selection of beneficiaries, the program has mobilized numerous individuals, organizations and units at home and abroad to support and help children with congenital heart disease.

After 15 years of implementation, the program has raised more than 210 billion VND, covering the treatment costs of more than 7,000 needy children with congenital heart disease, conducting 98 screening programs for more than 160,000 children nationwide, cooperating with more than 40 hospitals, supporting the capacity expansion of 7 hospitals and heart centers, and helping to treat thousands of poor children with congenital heart disease who otherwise wouldn't have access to treatment.

In celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Operation Healthy Heart program, Vietnam Television organizes the "Gala Commemorating 15 Years of Operation Healthy Heart" to recognize the contributions of the community and philanthropists who have consistently supported the program. Operation Healthy Heart sincerely thanks the kind-hearted people, businesses and volunteer units who have always stood by the program in charity activities to support the treatment of congenital heart disease in underprivileged children nationwide. The program hopes to continue to receive support and cooperation from the community.
