Locals store water as river rises suddenly

VTV.vn - As China and Laos release water from their dams, the water level in the Tiền and Hậu Rivers in the Mekong Delta region have increased. Local people have made use of the water resource to save their crops.

According to the Mekong Delta Institute for Climate Change, this amount of water can only serve current needs. Therefore, farmers may face great losses if they sow too much rice.
