State President Trương Tấn Sang was received by his Czech counterpart Milos Zeman in Prague two days ago, as part of his official visit to the Czech Republic. On the second day of the visit, President Truong Tan Sang met with the President of the Czech Republic’s Morava Communist Party Vojtech Filip and visited a crystal production center.
At his meeting with the President of the Czech Republic’s Morava Communist Party, and Vice President of the Lower House, Vojtech Filip, President Sang lauded his efforts to boost parliamentary cooperation between the two countries, which he said would contribute to bilateral cooperation in various areas. He added that he is pleased to see the relations between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Czech Republic’s Morava Communist Party continue to be maintained and developed over the years. He also expressed his belief that with the right policies, the Morava Communist Party can have an increasingly important position in the Czech Republic’s political system.
He also visited a crystal production center in Karlovy Vary province and had a working session with the governors of the province and the city of Karlovy Vary. During his visit to Karlovy Vary, President Sang asked local leaders to consider the establishment of ties with Vietnamese localities to share their experiences in urban development. He also witnessed the signing of a cooperative agreement between Vietnam’s Quang Binh province and Karlovy Vary province.
He asked the owners of Moser Glas crystal production factory to consider establishing a factory in Vietnam, which will help Czech crystal sales expand further in the Asian market.
