Happy New Year - Multicolor 2024 is a special program produced by Vietnam Television to welcome the New Year. The program includes the presentation of the Impressive VTV - VTV Awards 2023 to outstanding people and works broadcast on VTV from December 1, 2022 to November 10, 2023. The program will be broadcast live on January 1, 2024 at 20:10 on VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television.
VTV Awards 2023 will see changes in the nomination categories.
The Impressive VTV - VTV Awards 2023 now includes 8 nomination categories, divided into two groups:
Nomination categories (Group A) include: Impressive Documentary, Creative Program of the Year, Promising Face.
Nomination Categories (Group B) include: Impressive Male Actor, Impressive Female Actor, Impressive Television Series, Impressive Entertainment Program and Spreading Image.
Among the 8 nomination categories this year, there are 3 with the following criteria
Creative Program of the Year: Programs that demonstrate innovation and creativity in content and form, production methods, and deliver attractive and valuable content to audiences.
Promising Face: Artists/public figures under 30 years of age, with a remarkable career history, creativity, outstanding achievements during the year, showing remarkable progress in their profession, and who are truly considered as promising for the coming years, positively accepted by the audience, representing the new generation.
There are three faces that correspond to three areas: culture, arts, and sports.
Viral Image: This award recognizes social impact, highlighting moments when individuals or groups have taken specific actions that raise awareness or evoke humanistic emotions, positively impacting the community. The "Chào năm mới - Ấn tượng 2023" (Happy New Year - Impression 2023) program includes the awarding of the Impressive VTV - VTV Awards 2022.
Two rounds of voting with a diverse voting system
Individuals and works from programs broadcast on VTV platforms from December 1, 2022 to November 10, 2023 are nominated for the VTV Awards 2023.
This year's awards consist of 2 rounds of voting on the VTVgo app and by SMS.
Round 1 will run from 12:00 on December 1 to 12:00 on December 23, 2023. Nominees in groups A and B will be judged by 50% of votes from the audience via VTVgo and SMS, and 50% from the Expert Council. This process will determine the top 3 in each nominated category.
Round 2: The nominated categories in Group A will keep the results from Round 1. Group B will be judged in Round 2 completely by audience voting via VTVgo and SMS. The voting period for Round 2 is from 12:00 on December 25, 2023 to 12:00 on January 1, 2024. Based on the voting results, the Organizing Committee will select the most outstanding person/work.
