This year's programme will have 42 soloists, including amateur and professional singers, celebrities, students and young people, who will compete in head-to-head singing duels.
They will be scored by 101 judges, comprising music fans, critics and journalists led by a celebrity.
Sixteen contestants with the highest scores will enter the quarter-final. After this round, contestants will have a chance to make a deal and leave the show with cash prizes ranging from VND10 million to VND60 million ($480-2,900) if they believe they will not win against their competitors.
The grand winner will receive a cash prize of VND300 million (US$14,300) and a single produced by Universal Asia.
The first eight episodes of the show will be broadcast live on HTV7 at 9pm every Saturday, while the final four episodes will be aired every Sunday on the same channel and time.
