Vinafood 2 to develop large-scale paddy fields

The company is working with partners for the development of large-scale paddy fields, a model which many local enterprises in the region have been investing in during recent years.

The project is expected to strive/cover? 20% of the Delta’s total planted area by 2020.

Accordingly, the Corporation will have to develop a sustainable value chain, including developing varieties, improving production technology, trade promotion, and so on.

This will help address shortcomings in the industry’s current value chain, enhance rice quality, and improve the incomes of local farmers.
