Vietnam Airlines' A350 takes off
VTV.vn - Vietnam Airlines officially sent its new generation Airbus A350-900 XWB into the sky on October 2, flying the Paris - Hanoi route.

Vietnam Airlines is the first Asian airlines and the second airlines in the world to fly the A350 XWB. This is the first of 14 A350 XWBs Vietnam Airlines has ordered to 2019, of which ten are being purchased from Airbus and four are being leased.

The national carrier will operate its A350 XWB fleet on premium long-haul routes, beginning with service between Hanoi and Paris.

The A350 XWB is the latest addition to Airbus’ market-leading wide-body family, which can carry up to 440 passengers and fly non-stop for over 16.000km.
