Significant improvements made to road infrastructure

By the end of this year, Vietnam will have made significant progress in upgrading its highway system, 20% ahead of schedule. Despite meeting difficulties / in terms of raising finances, the transport sector / has attracted large sums into highway infrastructure investment. STORY: The major projects to expand Highway 1 and the Ho Chi Minh Highway in the Central Highlands region were finished a year ahead of schedule. This has helped to save about 62.3 million USD. The roads have 6 lanes, allowing vehicles to travel at up to 80km/h, 30% faster than before.
