“This year, amidst the rise of Covid-19, we would like to support the school to prepare its students for a healthy and safe new school year. Hence, SCG has helped sterilize the classrooms, equip contactless hand sanitizing sprayers, sports equipment as well as provided materials to train students about hygiene habits at school. Besides, we also gave practical gifts to the children such as masks, hand sanitizers, backpacks, and stationeries, so that they can start their school year healthily and eagerly.”, Mr. Soros Khlongchoengsan added.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Dung, Head Master of the Ba Ria Vung Tau School For Disable Children shared: “As a school for disable children, it is more critical for us to keep our students safe and healthy these days because of Covid-19. Our children need special help and guidance to establish hygiene habits. Therefore, SCG’s support is really timely and meaningful. It reduces the burden of the school and the teachers, and also adds more excitement to our new school year”.

Furthermore, SCG also encouraged students to apply circular economy concepts in their learning during the upcoming school year. Using recycled materials, the disable students themselves have created astounding models for classroom study, which is not only environmentally friendly but also lively as learning materials. This activity continues the corporate’s effort since last year to build a green culture at the school. More special, in this year, SCG also donated 10 Doozypack Paper Playhouse - the first B2C products of SCG Packaging. These recycled cartoon playhouses are meaningful gifts for the students to unleash their creativity as well as a safe in-house playground in high time of Covid-19.
