The 3-day event will discuss and exhibit nuclear power development in Vietnam, Russia, and Japan. The event aims at planning nuclear power development in Vietnam from now until 2020, as well as introducing basic knowledge about nuclear power to locals in Ninh Thuan Province.
The Ninh Thuan nuclear power project was passed by the government in 2009 to produce power for socio-economic development in the region. Dossiers for Ninh Thuận nuclear power plant 1 and 2 are being submitted to the government.
