The festival drew the participation of nearly 500 artisans and artists from 5 regional localities including Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, and Lam Dong. These artists join in 13 festive activities, including traditional art performances, gong dances, costume shows, cuisine, tourism promotions, photo exhibitions, and folk games.
A number of workshops on investment and promotion of high-tech farms have also been scheduled. The Culture Space of the Gongs in the Central Highlands region has been recognised by UNESCO as an intangible heritage.
