Vietnam, Laos to boost public security ties

Deputy Minister of Public Security Major General Nguyễn Văn Thành led the Vietnamese delegation in the working visit to Laos. Deputy Minister Thanh joined his Laotian counterpart Sinthavong Sayakon in a conference on Feb 15th.

The 2 sides took this opportunity to review the collaborative activities in public security in the year 2016. Laotian and Vietnamese police praised the successes of last year and have shown their commitment of building further on these achievements. Both ministries have also agreed to work closely together to plan for the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Laos.
