VTV.vn - Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Hai Binh spoke at a press briefing on May 12, resolutely opposed and asked Taiwan-China to stop their violation of Vietnam’s sovereignty in the Spratly Archipelago.

Taiwan-China has disregarded Vietnam’s concerns and continued its illegal acts, including visits by senior officials to Ba Binh Island in the Spratly archipelago and the issuing of a commemorative stamp as part of attempts to portray sovereignty in the East Sea, which seriously violates Vietnam’s sovereignty, further complicates the situation, and is detrimental to the maintenance of peace and stability in the region.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Hai Binh said, such acts by Taiwan-China wouldn’t change the truth that Vietnam has sovereignty over the Truong Sa and Hoang Sa archipelagos.
