Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc asked ministries and sectors to work on their own plans to realise the growth target of 6.5% this year as well as targets set at the 12th National Party Congress.
The deputy prime minister pointed out some short terms goals, including fighting drought in the central region and strong cold in the north, securing electricity supply for production, stabilising interest rates and the foreign exchange rate, and monitoring traditional spring festivals.
