As Christmas is approaching, the party, government and Vietnam Fatherland Front leaders have held various activities to extend Christmas greetings to Catholic communities across the country. President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Central Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan paid a visit to the Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics. Catholic communities have actively participated in the Vietnam Fatherland Front's programme to alleviate poverty, protect the environment and tackle climate change in recent years. On this occasion, the president expressed his appreciation for the contribution of the committee in strengthening solidarity among Catholics communities in the country.
