Deputies approved a resolution to implement a number of articles on the law regarding the election of deputies to the National Assembly and members of People’s Councils at all levels. The resolution also gave detailed instructions on additional elections at local levels, if needed.
In his closing speech, National Assembly chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung urged thorough preparations for the National Assembly and People’s Council elections, including a meeting of the National Electoral Council and a national conference on electoral activities, scheduled for February.
