Boat driver Bành Thanh Duy, 31, of Nha Trang City said to police that his boat carrying ten tourists suffered a jammed gear when it was about to depart from port for a sight seeing trip.
As Thanh failed to control the boat, it collided with three boats nearby, one of which sank while two others sustained heavy damage.
