HCM CITY — HCM Stock Exchange approved the listing of more than 217 million shares of Sài Gòn Thương Tín Real Estate (Sacomreal) JSC (SCR) on the bourse.
SCR has charter capital of VNĐ2.17 trillion (US$97 million).
Before all SCR shares were listed on the northern bourse of HNX. The transfer of shares from one listing exchange to another was passed by the annual shareholders’ meeting of the company in 2016.
HCM City-based Sacomreal JSC was established in 2005 to serve the growing real estate industry in the south of Việt Nam. It, currently, has nine associates and subsidiaries in the city and in Long An Province.
The shift is believed to be preparation ahead of the merger between HNX and HOSE later this year. So far, Central Hydropower (HCP) An Phát Securities (APG), Sơn Hà Sài Gòn (SHA) and AAA of Plastic and Green Environment Phat (AAA) have shifted from HNX to HOSE. — VNS
