Extra bus tickets
Hà Nội Bus Station JSC said it plans to supply 3,200 bus trips to serve the high travel demand during the holiday.
Nguyễn Anh Toàn, director of Hà Nội Bus Station JSC, said the surge in passengers mainly focused on routes to tourism sites, including Phú Thọ, Quảng Ninh, Nam Đinh, Thanh Hóa, Thái Bình, Lào Cai, Sơn La and Điện Biên.
Regarding the fares, leaders of bus stations said the prices of tickets would not increase.
They suggested that passengers buy tickets at ticket counters.
In order to ensure traffic safety, buses overloaded with passengers and cargos will not be allowed to leave the stations.
